Farsley Celtic caretaker manager Neil Parsley has yet to decide if he wants the job permanently.
The assistant made the step up after John Deacy was sacked last week and won his first match in charge on Saturday.
"The board will have to decide how they want to take the club forward. I don't know if that plan includes me," Parsley told BBC Radio Leeds.
"I'd consider the pros and cons if offered the job and take it from there. I'd have to speak to John Deacy too."
Parsley was appointed as Farsley's number two by Deacy last season, after Deacy was promoted to manager.
"I'm still hurting for John. He's put in a lot of time and effort here over many years.
"So it's hard for me too, so I don't know what I will do yet.
"I need to speak to John about what happened last week, how he feels about it all and future possible scenarios."
