Boss Billy Jeffrey said he was relieved and delighted after his Banbury United side were spared relegation from the Southern League Premier Division.
Banbury finished 19th but were reprieved because other clubs had difficulties meeting stadium criteria.
Jeffrey told BBC Oxford: "We were always hopeful that if we finished in the final relegation space that we might be reinstated.
"After all the hard work, it's fantastic we have avoided relegation."
