Braintree Town have added another new face to their squad with the signing of George Purcell from Ebbsfleet.
The midfielder, 21, spent part of last season on loan at Heybridge Swifts before leaving Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet at the end of the season.
"He fits the age and criteria of player I've been looking for," manager Robbie Garvey told BBC Essex.
"I saw him play when I was at Dagenham and he can play up front which is what he'll do here," said Garvey.
Braintree have seen a number of players leave over the summer, some of whom have been released by Garvey while others have decided to look elsewhere.

"I'm disappointed that those who I didn't release haven't stayed here and given it a crack, perhaps they're frightened," said Garvey.
"I am interested in players who want to come and play here, not those whose first question is about money."
