Gravesend and Northfleet keeper Craig Holloway could miss the whole season with a cruciate knee injury. The 21-year-old was the club's first choice keeper for the majority of last season after signing from Southend in August 2005.
The former Arsenal trainee's absence is a major blow ahead of the start of the Conference season on 12 August.
Meanwhile, Gravesend have added Gillingham midfielder George Purcell to their ranks.
