Daniel has made over 300 appearances for Stafford Rangers
Stafford Rangers have organised a testimonial match for defender Wayne Daniel, to celebrate seven years' service with the club.
A "Wayne Daniel All-Star XI" will be taking on the current crop of Rangers players at Marston Road on 3 May.
Among the former Stafford favourites taking part in the match will be Danny Alcock, Phil Robinson and Neil Grayson.
Daniel told BBC Radio Stoke: "It makes you appreciate that football is a luxury and I'm very lucky."
Daniel, who also works as a refuse collector, has been a stalwart in the Stafford defence for several years, and captained the club to promotion into the Conference National in 2006.
The 32-year-old has made over 300 appearances for Rangers, and is hopeful of being offered a new contract to extend his stay with the club, despite the current financial situation at Marston Road.
He was one of the players to defer half of his wages in December as the club struggled to stave off the worries of administration.
"Money has never been important in football for me. We've all got jobs anyway, so it's not as if we're going to lose our house or anything like that.
"If it helps the club out, I would have played for free, and told them not to pay me at all. That's how much it means to me."
