Price joined Worcester from Gloucester City in November 2007
Worcester City have released five players after a disappointing debut season in Blue Square South.
Ollie Barnes, Jamie Price, Matt Dodd, Rob Davies and Craig Brown have all been told they will not be offered new contracts for next season.
"We've got to try and cut our cloth accordingly," manager Richard Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We're hoping when people see we have re-signed Tom Kemp and Shabir Khan they will see good players are staying."
The City boss knows his side under-preformed last season and refuses to blame their 16th-place finish on the off-the-field financial problems the club is facing.
He says he is going to have a busy summer as he is looking to completely overhaul the playing staff.
"We need a lot tinkering at the back and up front as well as in wide positions, so that is what we are looking to do," he said.
"We've got to change it and there are people like Matt Dodd who have been a bit unlucky, as he has shown glimpses of what he can do.
"Matt has shown he can do it in probably two games out of five, but we need people to be doing it three or four games out of five," he added.

Richard Dryden
Defenders Khan, Tom Kemp, Graham Ward and Kevin Spencer have joined former academy midfielders Gary Walker and Jordan Fitzpatrick in signing new deals for next season.
Goalkeeper Danny McDonnell, defender Jon Richardson, midfielder Dave Bampton and strikers Marco Adaggio and Craig Wilding have been offered reduced terms.
Dryden has already drawn up his wish-list of summer signings but he knows there will be fierce competition for the players he is chasing.
"Some I have got a chance of getting while some I have got no chance of getting but you have got to ask the question," he said.
"When I was in a nightclub when I was younger and you asked a girl out 10 times and you got nine slaps.
"I'll be asking 10 players and I might get a player somewhere, so I'll be looking at these good players and seeing if they will come to Worcester City."
