Worcester City have signed Sutton Coldfield Town midfielder Matt Dodd on a one-year contract.
The 21-year-old is manager Richard Dryden's third summer signing.
"I watched him once and he got kicked a few times in the first ten minutes, but he got up and got on with it," Dryden told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"He has a lot of pace. His attitude is fantastic, I am sure he can make the step up, and maybe go on a bit further."
Dodd says it was his new manager's vision of how the game should be played that really sold City to him:
"I love playing 4-4-2 and 4-4-3 and I think I need some variety in my game," he said.
