Worcester City have signed central defender Ollie Barnes from Blue Square Premier side Salisbury.

The 19-year-old has turned down offers from other Blue Square South clubs to move to St Georges Lane.

"He has a great attitude, works hard and wants to do well, and he hasn't just come for the money," said City manager Richard Dryden.

Barnes made his debut for the Blues in Saturday's 2-0 friendly defeat at home to Cheltenham Town.
