Naylor fractured his cheekbone against Kettering in the FA Trophy
AFC Telford United's Martyn Naylor said he is ready to return to action after fearing his season was over with a fractured cheekbone.
He was injured against Kettering in the FA Trophy in January when he collided with team-mate Lee Vaughan.
The utility man, 31, told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I knew something was wrong and as soon as I got home I went straight to the hospital.
"I've just got to help the team as much as possible."
Naylor rejoined the Bucks, a club he first played for in 1996, during the summer after moving from The New Saints in the Welsh Premier League.
He was initially told he would not play again this season after having his cheekbone pinned in three places but, after seeking more advice, he was told he could play again.
"He said after three to four weeks, your bone should be healed anyway. If anyone does hit you in that same place, it's as strong, if not stronger than previous," Naylor revealed.
"It's great news that he can play," Bucks boss Rob Smith said. "With the way our fixtures are, every player will count."
It is not expected he will be included in the squad to play against King's Lynn at the New Bucks Head at the weekend.
Telford strikers Danny Carey Bertram and Andy Brown both face fitness tests before the Blue Square North league game after picking up knocks in recent weeks.
