Naylor joined Telford during the Summer from The New Saints
AFC Telford United's Martyn Naylor will not play again this season after fracturing his cheekbone in three places against Kettering.
Naylor picked up the injury during a freak collision with fellow defender Lee Vaughan during the Bucks' 1-0 victory in the FA Trophy.
Manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "He had an operation on Tuesday to pin his cheekbone.
"He's been told he can't do anything for three months, he's in a bad way."
Naylor re-joined the Bucks, a club he first played for in 1996, during the summer after moving from The New Saints in the Welsh Premier league.
Smith said Naylor's injury was devastating and a big blow to everyone.
"Seeing the picture it looks like he's been in a car crash, hopefully he'll recover properly," he explained.
The Bucks' utility man had recently recovered from a thigh strain he picked up in Telford's 2-0 defeat in the FA Cup by Southend at Roots Hall in November.
Telford are fourth in the Blue Square North and they travel to Workington at the weekend.
