Martyn Naylor is back at the Bucks Head for a third spell
New AFC Telford United signing Martyn Naylor is likely to step straight into Rob Smith's defence after making a second return to the Bucks Head.
The 30-year-old defender has been taken on as cover for Lee Vaughan, who faces an early ban, and injured Jimmy Turner.
It means a third spell at Telford for Naylor, who joined Shrewsbury from the Bucks in August 1997 before returning to the Bucks Head two seasons later.
He has spent the last six years in the Welsh Premier League at The New Saints.
But, after just seven games last term, he was released by the Oswestry club in a reshuffle following a change of manager and their failure to retain their league title.
The brother of Celtic's former Wolves left-back Lee Naylor, he is renowned as a tough-tackling wing-back who likes to move forward, with a reputation as a dead ball specialist from free-kicks and corners.
