Brown scores against Telford (Pic - Nuneaton Town FC)

AFC Telford United's Andy Brown says he cannot wait to link up with his new team-mates as Telford start pre-season training on Saturday.

Brown joined the Bucks during the summer after leaving Nuneaton Borough.

The striker will be linking up with fellow newcomers Terry Fearnes, Liam Blakeman and Gavin Cowan.

Brown said: "I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and getting ready for the new season. It will be good to get back into training."

Looking ahead to the new season in the Blue Square North, Brown said: " I think Southport or Burscough will be the main threats."

The players start pre-season training on Saturday with an intense fitness programme as they prepare for their first pre-season friendly at Stratford Town on 12 July.
