Telford United defender Jimmy Turner has been told he needs more rest after aggravating his old knee injury.
Turner had a minor operation earlier this month, but it has swollen up and he will now not make next week's start of pre-season training.
Telford assistant manager Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We're not too concerned. He has been told to rest for seven days.
"Hopefully it will settle down, so he's ready for pre-season."
Turner has struggled with the injury since the turn of the year, doing his best to carry on and play through it.
"If the swelling doesn't go down, we may have to look at it differently," said Chambers. "But he should be ok."
The rest of Telford's squad return to pre-season training this Saturday (28 June).
