Jimmy Turner is expected to play against Hyde (James Baylis)

AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith believes defender Jimmy Turner will play against Hyde United on Saturday despite his on-going knee problem.

Smith said: "The injury has caught up with him, but I think we'd have to strap him down to stop him playing."

And the Bucks manager is confident going into the game. "I think we can get the desired result," said Smith.

"I'm glad to get the travelling out of the way, we're second in the table and back at home."

Bucks defender Lee Vaughan will miss the game through suspension and Michael Husbands is set to feature on the bench after coming back from a knee injury.

New signing Dave Roberts will make his debut in defence.
