AFC Telford United striker Lee Moore has committed himself to the club and signed a new one-year deal.

"He's a valuable member of the squad and I'm delighted he's decided to stay," boss Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.

Moore, who hit nine goals last season, had taken time to consider the club's offer before putting pen to paper.

"I think he realised the rewards available here are greater than maybe elsewhere," said chairman Lee Carter.

"Money is important, but you cannot put a price on the support you get from Telford people and the profile you get when playing for the club."

Moore joined the Bucks from Tamworth in December 2006 and was a regular in the side as Telford finished second in the Blue Square North last season before being beaten in the play-offs by Barrow.
