Alfreton are five points off the Blue Square North play-offs

Alfreton Town had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Hucknall Town in the Blue Square North on Tuesday.

The Reds managed a massive 5-0 victory over the Nottinghamshire side in their league meeting at home on Boxing Day.

But it was Hucknall who opened the scoring through Gary Ricketts in the fourth minute.

Liam Hearn managed to put the visitors level just before half time but despite a penalty from Josh Law in the second half the sides shared the points.
