Harrogate Town have lost their last three league games plus two cup-ties
Harrogate Town manager Neil Aspin bemoaned his side's misfortune after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Vauxhall Motors made it five defeats in a row.
Defender Denny Ingram was injured in the build-up to Vauxhall's goal, and a late Town equaliser was disallowed.
Aspin told BBC Radio York: "We've got everything against us at the moment and it's not getting any better.
"We scored an equaliser and it's been chalked off by the linesman after the referee's given it," he added.
Town are still fourth in Blue Square North but can be overhauled by several teams below them who have games in hand.
"You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know why we're struggling," he added, referring to the absence of the suspended James Dean and Darren Dunning, plus the injured Danny Holland, Matty Young and Denny Ingram.
However, Aspin is determined to keep positive for his team:
"I did feel that a couple of players put in good performances, the fact that they kept going, kept trying to play football, is to their credit."
The three injured players are all doubtful for the short Boxing Day trip to Farsley Celtic and Dean is still suspended. However, Dunning is available again after serving his suspension.
