Dryden is looking for City to maintain their good away form
Worcester City manager Richard Dryden is looking to his side to build on their excellent away record in Blue Square South when they go to Thurrock.
The City boss told BBC Hereford and Worcester that, with only one away loss, they will travel in good heart.
"It's another local derby, in Essex, so an early start but the atmosphere on the bus is good," Dryden joked.
"[Coach] Carl Heeley has said it a lot this year, but you can't beat being on the bus coming back when you've won."
That one blemish on City's away record came at Maidenhead United when they were hammered 5-0, but they put things back on track last weekend with a 2-1 success at Hampton and Richmond Borough.
Dryden knows it was important that they put that Maidenhead result behind them as quickly as possible, and he was delighted by the players' response - especially after they fell behind at Hampton.
"When you have lost the last three, heads could have gone down but the character is not bad in what is a young side with a couple of older heads in it," he said.
Coming in drawing at half-time I think the lads knew they were going to go on and win the game

"We got back into it with a great goal and that gave us a lot of confidence.
"Coming in drawing at half-time I think the lads knew they were going to go on and win the game," he added.
City report no new injury concerns going into Saturday's game at Thurrock and are not expected to make too many changes.
Dryden hinted that not too many of his fringe players staked a case in a reserve team match in the week.
"We got beaten heavily in the reserves, which I am very disappointed about, so we will have chat about that," he said.
"Thurrock - they have just won 6-0 against Basingstoke, which isn't what you like to see, but we'll give it a go," he added.
