Michael Frew's first-half goal was enough to give King's Lynn their first win of the season in Blue Square North.
After seven consecutive draws, Frew's volley on 18 minutes earned the Linnets a 1-0 victory over Fleetwood Town in the winger's 100th game for the club.
Assistant manager Lee Glover told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We were pleased to be unbeaten but frustrated at not being able to turn them into wins.
"We created a lot and were disappointed not to go in two or three up."
He added: "The second half we knew we wanted to carry on in the same vein and get the second goal, they penned us in for a little while but didn't really have a clear-cut chance, we were pleased about that."
Glover also said he was pleased with the display from Lynn's big summer signing Julian Joachim.
"He looked very sharp, he got in behind people and had one or two chances, he can be pleased with his contribution and I think there's a lot more to come from him," he said.
