Owen scored over 100 goals in his first spell at Worcester

Striker Mark Owen marked his return to Worcester City with a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 friendly win over Kettering Town.

Former Walsall midfielder Darren Wrack put the Poppies ahead with a deflected shot midway through the first half.

City had failed to score in their last three pre-season games but Owen made no mistake on 27 minutes to send his side into the break on level terms.

Graham Ward pounced on a loose ball on 63 minutes after Jamie Price's free kick came back off the Kettering wall.
