Owen scored 33 goals for Evesham last season

Worcester City have re-signed their former striker Mark Owen from their tenants Evesham United.

The City chairman Dave Boddy told BBC Hereford and Worcester manager Richard Dryden feels Owen still has plenty left to offer.

"I think he's approaching 30, but he's consistently scored goals since he left the club [in 2005]," said Boddy.

"We've created chances in pre-season, but have not converted them so clearly Richard sees him as being the man."
