Kabir last played for England in 2006

Worcestershire's former England spinner Gareth Batty has tipped his team-mate Kabir Ali for an international recall.

Kabir was instrumental in Worcestershire beating Middlesex by 10 wickets in three days at Lord's.

"I think he's bowling better than I have ever seen him bowl," Batty told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"There are a lot of people around Worcester saying he should be in line for Test cricket again and I think he's proved he should be," he added.
