Keith Webb has brought in several new signings over the summer
King's Lynn have completed the signing of former Cambridge United defender Mark Peters on a one-year contract.
Peters, 36, is a former Welsh Under-21 international who started his career as a trainee with Manchester City and also spent one season with Norwich City.
He joined Cambridge from Leyton Orient in August 2005 and played against the Linnets in the FA Trophy last season.
Manager Keith Webb told BBC Radio Norfolk: "He's a bit of a warrior and will go through brick walls for you."
Webb has been assessing his squad over the summer break, with some of his players demanding improved contracts.
"We have moved on now and everyone is geared up for the new season and we are looking forward to it," said Webb.
King's Lynn will be playing in Blue Square North this season after successfully winning the Southern Premier League last season.
Webb believes that the higher standard of football will not be a problem for his team.
"I'm very happy with the way things are developing," Webb added.
"I'm looking to add just one more player then I'll have a squad that should do quite well next season".
The Linnets play their first pre-season friendly against S & L Corby on Thursday 10 July.
