Striker ponders King's Lynn exit

King's Lynn striker Danny Bloomfield says he could leave the club because of the amount of extra travelling they will have to do next season.

The Linnets look certain to be playing in Conference North following the league's annual general meeting.

"For me it's an extra 4,500 miles to what we did last year," he told BBC Radio Norfolk.

The 25-year-old former Norwich City youngster scored 20 goals last season as Lynn won the Southern League title.

Bloomfield is in his second spell with King's Lynn and played an important role as they clinched Conference level football for the first time in their history.

It's just a juggling act of trying to have a life and play football at the highest level as well as for the club I want to play for

He lives and works in Ipswich and says he might not be able to commit to the distances involved.

"I've got a young boy now, seven months old, and I work quite long hours as well," he said.

"It's just a juggling act of trying to have a life and play football at the highest level as well as for the club I want to play for."

King's Lynn had wanted to be placed in Blue Square South but the league decided to keep the club in the northern division.
