Joachim has 16 years of Football League experience

Veteran former Aston Villa and Leicester striker Julian Joachim has signed a deal to join King's Lynn when his Darlington deal expires on 1 July.

Joachim has played in the Premier League or Football League for his entire career to date, but has agreed to move to the Blue Square South.

The 33-year-old was released by the Quakers at the end of the season, after scoring six goals for them last term.

Joachim has scored over 100 Football League goals in his career.

Meanwhile, striker Matt Nolan, 26, has left the Linnets.
