Yakubu returned to score against his old club Middlesbrough
Nigerian striker Yakubu scored on his return from injury to earn Everton a 1-1 draw at home to Middlesbrough.
It was his first goal after being out for 10 matches and it actually went in off his back - but they all count.
It was a case of draws all round elsewhere in the Premiership, as another Nigerian Obafemi Martins sparked Newcastle United's late revival against Wigan Athletic.
However, his side were denied all three points through a last-minute Wigan equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
