Portuguese Club beat bottom side St Clement for the second time in four days, helping their own fight against the drop from the Jersey Premiership.
Carlos Alves's brace and one from Jason de Andrade secured a 3-1 win with Paul McCafferty scoring for St Clement.
Portuguese move six points clear of the drop zone with two games to play, climbing above Grouville and Scottish.
St Clement now have to win their last four games to have any chance of avoiding the drop.
Portuguese, who won at St Clement in their previous game, are still waiting to find out the outcome of their abandoned match with champions St Paul's.
A win could be awarded to St Paul's, leaving Portuguese Club with just one to play while the teams behind them have games in hand.
