Douglas Royal moved a step closer to relegation after losing to Ramsey in the Canada Life Premier League on Saturday.
Jamie Moffitt netted a fine hat-trick, with Danny Oram and John Roberts adding further strikes for the northerners.
Whilst Ramsey are safe in eighth, the defeat leaves Royal six points adrift of safety, having played three more games than 11th-placed Michael.
Meanwhile, there were no big shocks in the first round of the Cu-Plas FA Cup.
Rushen progressed after a 5-0 victory over Gymns at Croit Lowey whilst fellow southerners Castletown beat Ayre 3-0.
Ramsey Youth Club Old Boys edged out Police 5-4, whilst Douglas High School Old Boys thrashed Corinthians 8-1.
Elsewhere, Marown thrashed Malew 7-0 in the GH Corlett Woods Cup.
The rest of the matches were postponed due to waterlogged pitches after a weekend of heavy rain on the Isle of Man.
