Kent league side Hythe face Concord Rangers on Saturday in the penultimate qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Two more wins for Hythe, who are one of the lowest ranked sides in the cup, could see them play Charlton or Southampton in the first round proper.
Town boss Scott Porter told BBC Radio Kent: "It's a winnable game, if we perform, we can cause a shock.
"It would be silly not to look at the next stage but getting through, that would be fantastic for the club."
Dover Athletic manager Martin Hayes' task is to end a record of only reaching the first round once in 28 years.
His side need to win two more games, starting at home against Cambridge City.
Hayes said: "I've always viewed the FA cup and the Trophy as two big competitions. We want to stay in the cup as long as possible. We want to achieve the first round, which will be a great opportunity for the club to get some funds into the bank.
"It will also give the fans something to talk about in years to come."
Ebbsfleet United's relegation from the Blue Square Bet Premier last season means they had to start their campaign in the second qualifying round this year, but they came through a tough first hurdle against Cray after a replay.
Standing in their way now are Ryman North side Needham Market, who are second in the table in their first year since winning promotion from the Eastern Counties league.
Fleet boss Liam Daish said: "The early ties are sometimes the hardest. We have to show them respect but we performed at Bromley and other games away from home, they're on a roll with a winning mentality so it will be a tough place to go."
Having beaten Bishop's Stortford in the last round Bromley face Chelmsford City.
Bromley are top of the Blue Square Bet South with Chelmsford in second and Bromley boss Mark Goldberg wants to emulate their performance in last year's Cup when they reached the first round and played League One side Colchester United.
Dartford have not reached round one since their reformation in the early 1990s and visit one of their old Ryman League adversaries Canvey Island.
Manager Tony Burman said: "It's always a good game against Canvey. We have done well against them, but anything can happen. They've come back from a defeat and gone to Lowestoft and got a decent result, it'll be difficult."
Burman is calling on his players to give him a better performance than their defeat at Boreham Wood last week which he described as "abysmal".
"I want a reaction from my players and I'm sure I'll get that. We haven't gelled together the way I want but it took a backward step last week. We had a friendly Monday night so we now move on and concentrate on Canvey," he said.
