Guernsey have drawn their first match in the Uefa Regions Cup 1-1 against Croatian side Dalmacija on Friday.
Both goals came in the first half with Croatian Stijepo Njire scoring 14 minutes into the game before Ross Allen equalised four minutes later.
Guernsey are representing England in the competition, their prize for winning the National League System Cup.
Coach Tony Vance said: "It was nail-biting, a great performance from us, we had to dig in at times."
He said: "I'm generally please with a draw to be fair. There were a few mistakes in pressurized situations, but I guess that's natural and that's what we're learning about really."
Guernsey's next match is against Gwent County from Wales on Sunday.
They lost 4-1 to Ankara from Turkey in their opening match, who Guernsey face on Tuesday.
Looking ahead to their next two games Vance said: "It's a decent start, you didn't want to lose your first game and we haven't done that so that's good.
"Obviously we've got to go and win some games now, the Welsh game is very, very important. It's about getting a couple of results under out belt so that's what we're going to do."
