Truro City were knocked out of the FA Cup as a second-half goal from Alex Ward was enough to put Maidenhead into the third qualifying round.
Both side's went close to scoring before the break before Ward scored what proved to be the winner midway through the second half.
Poor defending allowed Ward to fire home with his right foot.
Truro had thrashed Bridgwater Town 8-2 in the last round to set up their tie with Blue Square Bet South Maidenhead.
