Cornish Pirates' unbeaten run finally came to end on Sunday away to league strugglers Bristol. The hosts secured an early penalty through Nicky Little, and again just before the break. Despite a strong fight from the Pirates, Bristol secured the first try of the second half from Jack Adams. But Pirates broke down the defence, with Gavin Cattle getting their only try of the game. Shaun Marsden ran over for Bristol securing their first win. Nicky Little then cemented the win further, with his third and final penalty of the game.
