The Manx football team warmed-up for Saturday's National League System Cup match with an impressive 2-0 win over Prestatyn Town on Tuesday.

Second-half strikes from Chris Bass Jr and Ciaran McNulty sealed the win for Kevin Manning's side.

Manning said: "This was a real test for us against some quality opposition and we rose to the occasion.

"All the lads deserve a place in Saturday's squad, it's going to be a difficult decision."

Isle of Man will face West Midlands Police FC at Edgbaston on Saturday in the NLS Cup first round proper.

Manning continued: "We know they're a good side but we can take a lot of confidence from this result."
