Douglas Royal lift Women's FA Cup

Colby's Nikki Cooil netted four against Michael United in the league

Douglas Royal swept to a record fifth Women's Isle of Man FA Cup final win after defeating Castletown 5-2 at Laxey's Glen Road.

Royal's Bekki Cole netted a superb hat-trick to help her side to a Manx cup double with Donna Shimmin adding two further strikes.

Castletown's riposte came through strikes from Kim Watson and Sharon Whitehouse.

Town were the first team outside the top-flight to reach an FA Cup final.

Meanwhile, an under-strength Corinthians beat Gymnasium 6-3 to move top of Sure Mobile Division One.

Elsewhere in Sure Mobile Division Two, Colby recorded their biggest ever scoreline by thumping Michael Utd 12-0 at Balleira Road.
