Truro City are still second in the Southern League Division One South & West after a 4-2 win at sixth-placed Gosport Borough on Saturday.
City's sixth win in a row came thanks to two goals from Andy Taylor and one each from Stewart Yetton and Liam Eddy.
City are three points off Windsor and Eton, who have a game in hand, and two clear of third-placed AFC Totton.
"It was a very tough game, they're not a bad side," manager Sean McCarthy told BBC Radio Cornwall.
