First Tower have risen to second place in Jersey's Championship as they bid to try and get back into the top flight at the first time of asking.
They beat bottom side St Martin Sporting Club Francais 7-1 at La Hague Manor on Saturday to leapfrog St Clement, who lost 3-1 to Magpies.
Stewart Daynes got a hat-trick for Tower as they won their fourth straight game to go a point ahead of St Clement.
Steve Cumming got a hat-trick for 'Pies as they won at the eastern side.
It means Tower are 10 points behind leaders Portuguese Club, while St Clement are 11 behind but have a game in hand.
The win for Magpies moves them up to fifth in the table, while St Martin Sporting Club Francais stay rooted to the bottom with one point.
