Trego agrees new deal at Somerset

All-rounder Peter Trego, 27, has agreed a new contract which will see him stay with Somerset until 2010.

"He has come back to Somerset and we put our faith in him and got him to improve," director of cricket Brian Rose told the club's website.

Trego, has scored almost 500 runs and taken 20 first-class wickets in 2008.

Rose also revealed that Somerset have offered new terms to Zander de Bruyn, Mark Turner, Arul Suppiah, Carl Gazzard and Max Waller.
