Somerset captain Justin Langer says Kevin Pietersen is the right choice as England captain.

"It's quite a bold selection but I believe that to be captain of any side you've got to be really on top of your game," Langer told BBC Somerset.

"He's arguably the one guy who's on top in both forms of the game.

"I've always found him to be a very respectful person. He's always wanted to learn and listen and I'm sure he'll do that with his captaincy," he said.
