Trescothick has hit 215 runs in his first two Pro40 innings this summer
Somerset's Marcus Trescothick believes they can challenge for both the County Championship and Pro40 titles.
The county beat Durham on Wednesday to move into third place in the Pro40, and are a point off Championship top-spot.
"Until we get out of any competition we look to win it. We're going well in the Championship and that's developing nicely," he told BBC Radio Bristol.
"Our one-day cricket has been a little bit inconsistent but hopefully we can put that right."
Trescothick continued his good form with the bat in the Pro40 by hitting 124 in the victory over Durham - the highest individual score in a 40-over match at the Riverside.
"I've got 91 and 124 in the two games but I've got to keep working hard and improving my game to ensure the team gets the results we need," he said.
"I missed out in the 50-over competition so I've got to try and catch up and cash in as much as I can."
The Taunton-based county were beaten by Kent in the Friends Provident Trophy quarter-finals and failed to progress beyond the Twenty20 Cup group stages.
