Rain frustrates Glamorgan chief

Twenty20 Cup

Glamorgan chief executive Mike Fatkin says he was frustrated that his side's Twenty20 match against Worcestershire Royals was abandoned.

Officials Jeremy Lloyds and John Steele made three pitch inspections at the Swalec Stadium after early downpours and decided play could not take place.

"In the end, the umpires have got to take a decision and decided it was not viable for us to play," he said.

"We have to get on with it, but the weather seems to be frustrating us."

Glamorgan are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Somerset, while Worcestershire host Warwickshire.
