Riki Wessels was denied his maiden ton of the season as Northants played out a predictable draw with Glamorgan. Northants began with a 14-run deficit but reached 312-8 in their second innings as the heavy rain on days one and three proved the only winner. Glamorgan's failure to make an early breakthrough made a result impossible as Wessels (92) and Stephen Peters (86) showed their prowess with the bat. Veteran spinner Robert Croft starred for the visitors, taking 4-71.
