Chants of "What a load of rubbish" rang around Rockingham Road as Kettering and Luton struggled to create chances.
Luton keeper Mark Tyler kept out a Damian Spence header and a shot by Exodus Geohaghon in the first half.
Poppies keeper Lee Harper saved from Adam Newton and Tom Craddock and pressed after the break but found the Kettering defence hard to break down.
Luton rallied in the final minutes but both sides appeared content for a share of the points.
