Kent off-spinner James Tredwell claimed the best first-class bowling figures of the summer to date as he took 8-66 to inspire a 204-run win over Glamorgan. On top of his own career best, Tredwell took 11-120 in the match as Kent secured victory with 17 overs to spare. Glamorgan had been set a stiff victory target of 385 in a minimum of 84 overs. But, despite Ben Wright's 81, the visitors collapsed to be bowled out for 180, losing their last seven wickets for 41 runs in the space of 20.1 overs.
