Denly's 97 not out is his best score of the season

Opener Joe Deny hit an unbeaten 97 to lead Kent to a four-wicket win in their rain-affected Friends Provident Trophy match with Scotland.

In front of a crowd of over 3,000 at Canterbury, Gavin Hamilton (75) and Cameron Borgas (65) helped the visitors to 227-7 from their 50 overs.

However bad weather meant that Kent's target was revised to 206 in 44 overs.

Denly was supported by Rob Key (27) and Martin van Jaarsveld (37) as Kent got home with 10 balls to spare.
