Tour match, Liverpool, day three of four
West Indies A 369 & 361-5 v Lancashire 279

Captain Daren Ganga scored his first century in England as West Indies A stretched their lead over Lancashire at Aigburth.

The opener, unbeaten on 11 overnight, occupied the crease for just short of four hours on a rain-hit day to finish 139 not out - his sixth career ton - with 18 fours and a six.

There was also a half-century from Runako Morton, and left-hander Chris Gayle fell six short of three figures, when he was caught off James Anderson, ending an opening partnership of 149.

Ryan Driver followed the wicket of Morton with that of Ryan Hinds for five, and then caught Devon Smith off Mike Smethhurst.

But wicketkeeper Keith Hibbert joined Ganga in adding an unbroken 35 for the sixth wicket, taking West Indies a to 361 for five at stumps - a lead of 451.

Anderson, in his fourth first-class match, was the most economical of the attack, conceding 49 runs from 17 overs.
