Cornwall's Minor Counties game with Dorset finished in a draw as half the game was lost to bad weather. Replying to Dorset's first innings total of 314 all out, Cornwall reached 316 all out at the end of play on day three in St Austell. David Roberts top scored for Cornwall with 81, while Tom Hicks was the pick of the Dorset bowlers, taking 3-70. The result means Dorset are overtaken at the top of the Championship table by new leaders Berkshire. Cornwall's hopes of winning the title are over, as they are now 26 points behind the leaders with just one match remaining. Berkshire are the visitors to Truro for the final game of the season on 15 August.
