Dorset failed to capitalise on a strong start as Cornwall staged a comeback on the second day of their minor counties match in St Austell. After losing the entire first day to rain, Dorset batted first, making 186 before the loss of their first wicket. The visitors lost the rest of their wickets for only 128 runs, ending on 314 all out, as Tom Sharp took 5-71. In reply Cornwall were 129-1 at the close with David Roberts on 58 not out, while Matt Robins was out for 40.
