Cornwall held out for a draw on day three of their Minor Counties match against Wiltshire in Corsham. Wiltshire brought their second innings to a close after lunch on Tuesday, declaring on 326-7, which left Cornwall needing 351 to win. Cornwall's response started well and century from opener David Roberts [102] put them in contention. But when Roberts and Tom Sharp [55] were dismissed Cornwall settled for the draw, ending on 254-6. Cornwall faced an uphill battle in the match after Wiltshire scored 384-8 in their first innings on day one. The visitors racked up 360 in reply, but Wiltshire again passed the 300 mark in their second innings [326-7], to put the pressure back on Cornwall. The draw sees Wiltshire take 12 points, although they remain bottom of the table, while Cornwall pick up 11 points and move to fifth behind neighbours Devon.
