Paul have had their lead at the top of the Cornwall Premier League cut to 17 points after failing to garner maximum points against Falmouth. Paul dropped points after only making 161, before bowling seventh-placed Falmouth out for 91. Second-placed St Just took maximum points at Penzance, scoring 305-3 before bowling their hosts out for 191. Truro moved up to third in the league with 91 run win over Callington, who drop to fourth as a result. Truro made 250-8, with Tom Sharp hitting 81, while Callington could only muster 159 in reply. In the weekend's other matches, Grampound Road drew with Newquay, while Werrington defeated St Austell by eight wickets.
