Jersey's young cricketers have missed out on a place in the Under-19 World Cup qualifying competition. Jersey lost to Scotland by 109 runs in their final game of the pre-qualifying 50-over tournament in Belfast. Scotland batted first to score 208 all out in 49.5 overs, with Jersey only managing to reach 99 all out in reply. Despite wins over the Netherlands A, Guernsey and Denmark, Jersey were only able to finish third in the tournament, with the top two progressing.
